Most of the Nordic countries have their own take on meatballs. Smaller than their Italian cousins and often served as part of a smorgasbord. Our delicious veggie meatballs and mash are a vegetarian twist on the classic Scandi dish. Our 'meatballs' are made with quinoa, chestnuts, black eyed beans, shallots and oats and seasoned with allspice, parsley, black garlic and nutmeg, giving you the perfect combination of flavour and texture.

Served with creamy mashed potatoes and sides of homemade lingonberry sauce and dill pickled cucumbers. All topped off with a savoury cream sauce. Maybe not 100% authentic, but truly delicious.

All orders for this dish will be delivered on Saturday 21st September.

Heating Instructions.

Heat the 'meatballs' and mash in their container in a fan oven preheated to 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

The cream sauce is best heated in a microwave for 1 minute, stirred and then heated for a further 30 seconds but you can decant the sauce into a small sauce pan and heat slowly until it comes to the boil.

The cucumbers and lingonberries should be served cold.
