This August, Koivu is bringing a taste of Finland to the Hyde Park Picture House to celebrate the screening of the classic Finnish film The White Reindeer.
Before the film, visit our pop-up stall between for a menu inspired by the forests, lakes and traditions of northern Finland. Every item is handmade in small batches using authentic Nordic recipes and carefully chosen ingredients, many featuring flavours that are closely associated with the Finnish countryside.
Whether you're discovering Finnish food for the first time or looking for a taste of home, we hope you'll find something to enjoy.
Pre-orders are now open until Thursday 6 August.
Place your order online and collect it from the Koivu stall at the Hyde Park Picture House before the screening.
A limited number of items will also be available to purchase on the day while stocks last.
You don't have to buy a cinema ticket to order food and you don't need to order food to see the film, but we'd recommend you do both!

Finnish Rice Pastry with Oltermanni Cheese
A traditional Finnish rye pastry filled with creamy rice porridge and finished with this very popular Finnish cheese.
Chanterelle, Leek & Juniper Hand Pie
A buttery pastry filled with wild mushrooms, sweet leeks, cream and a hint of aromatic juniper berries, inspired by the forests of Finnish Lapland.

Wild Garlic, Dill & Cheese Swirl
A soft enriched yeast pastry flavoured with foraged wild garlic, fresh dill and a sprinkling of cheese. Inspired by the comforting savoury bakes found in Nordic cafés, this is a delicious savoury alternative to Finland's famous cinnamon bun.
Baked country cheese with Cloudberry Jam
A slice of our homemade cheese made with vegetal rennet, gently baked until firm and golden and served with delectable cloudberry jam. Cloudberries are referred to as Arctic Gold due to their colour but also their scarcity. A classic dessert combination that perfectly balances sweet, creamy and slightly caramelised flavours.
Wild Blueberry Buns
Soft cardamom-scented Finnish sweet buns filled with wild blueberries and vanilla and baked until golden. Blueberries grow abundantly across Finland's forests, making them one of the country's most treasured summer flavours.
Arctic Snowball Truffles (pack of five)
Rich chocolate truffles made with oats and rolled in coconut to resemble fresh Arctic snow. These little treats are both vegan and gluten free.
Cinnamon Swirl Butter Cookies (pack of five)
Delicate buttery biscuits flavoured with warming cinnamon, inspired by Finland's enduring love of cardamom and cinnamon baking. Perfect alongside a cup of coffee before the film.
